the best little grocery between the bridges / port angeles, wa

coming soon

who are we?

Local farmers, woodworkers, florists, artists, students, volunteers, and (most importantly) friends who want to restore the old greengrocer on 8th and Pine.

The Pine and Eight is managed by SisterLand Farms and Northwest Beach Works, and will employ local farm crew, small farmers, and other manual laborers in order to offer career paths that are easier on our bodies.

The Pine and Eight is a grocery store, sure. But it’s more than that. Way more.

We’re going to connect hyper-local farmers, food processors, cider makers, bakers, artists, and craftspeople with a teeny-tiny launch space; a neighborhood shop just big enough to showcase the awesome work of regional laborers who are looking to make a living doing what they love.

And we want to make sure that they have the tools they need to succeed; educational resources, finance clinics, branding help—or whatever the community can offer its makers.

Our mission is to enrich the Pine Street and 8th Street corridors while honoring the people making our corner of the world so much sweeter.
